Great idea from the Rocky Mountain District: have you done this, too?

This is a cool idea from the Rocky Mountain District.

Has anyone else tried this? Have you participated in this? Inquiring minds want to know!

The Quartet Chain Letter


To allow every man in the Rocky Mountain District the opportunity to sing in a quartet.

How It Will Work:
1. Commencing January 1st, 2009 a designated quartet from each major population center – Denver, Albuquerque, and Salt Lake City will sing as a quartet.
2. Each member of the initial quartet will then form another quartet and sing with it.
3. Each member of the next quartet will form a quartet and sing with it.
4. Repeat Step 3.
5. Fill out the web form on www.rmdsing.org/qtetchain.htm or
6. Send an e-mail with the following information to president@rmdsing.org
a. Name
b. Voice Part
c. Chapter
d. Song or TAG sung
e. Date

7. Last day to sing in this contest is July 31st, 2009

What’s In It For You
1. Opportunity to sing in at least two quartets
2. The man in each voice part that sings with the most other people will receive two free registrations to the 2009 Fall Convention
What’s In It For The District
1. Possible increase in the number of quartets in the district
2. Chance to provide some entertainment that is self-generated at the Fall Convention
